next four

it was SO HOT the two last weeks I could'nt even paint ! but finally, here are the next four letters : G, L, H and A




what do you think of my little Scottish monkey ? I'm not really satisfied with the L and I think I'll do it again at the end (if time is on my side !)

All I've seen up to now from all your new alphabets is so original, this will be a great ALAW year !

    if you were going to do any one over, I agree it should be the L. contrast between the very modern block L and the medieval decoration (and other letters) seems a bit jarring.

    but quibbling aside, these are gorgeous!! you must be channeling a monk

    I've always thought it would be fun to try replicating the spirit of old manuscript letters like yours (what a great excuse ALaW is to try this out!). You're doing a beautiful job...as Little bit of Blue said, they are 'miniature masterpieces'. I'm looking forward to seeing your next letters...
