Well, what a struggle but on the whole enjoyable. I didn't realise when I started out using bleach to show up the letters that my cat is addicted to it. So there she was, each time I finished one she would lick them all over! Yuk! So then I had to hide them. Sometimes I hid them so well I couldn't find them again.
I decided to make a Jacob's ladder to display the letters. It was extremely hard to get all the letters in photograph. Instead of ribbon I used plastic so that the letters could be seen. The ladder works perfectly with a nice click clack sound.
What a great way to display all of your letters with the beautiful patterns (and how nice that you described the click clack for us - I can just hear it!).
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! They look so beautiful together and I agree: Thank you for the click-clack note.
ReplyDeletewonderful and a very good idea to display all the letters !
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I can hear the click-clack too. Fancy the cat being addicted to bleach!
ReplyDeleteWonderful display Lyndell. They look great in your doorframe!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of something similar (attached with small metal rings) but my rascally cat would have a field day trying to climb it. Oh those felines!
This makes a stunning display! That's a very clever idea and that's the perfect space to display all your hard work.
ReplyDeleteSuch an unusual display... well done.
ReplyDeleteI love the cat story Lyndell! I also love how you resolved your presentation - it's a great idea and wonderfully interactive (and aural too as we all hear it go click clack). Using the plastic was inspired so that all the letters are visible - brilliant.
