The Next Four

And here they are.

I have painted over each one with a starch paste

This time the paste consists of

Soy  milk powder and plain white spelt flour

Next will be some painting
I am having to be a bit ahead of schedule
as I will be away for half of April and May
Plus prep time of course.

    You're making such great texture with your stitches and paste combo - sure wish there was a way to see everyone's efforts in person.

    I love the creamy texturalness (hmmm a word?) of these letters - they almost look like you could eat them!

    I find these extremely interesting and I immediately think of snakeskin or fish bones. I suppose it is the earthiness of the materials employed that makes me think of these natural things.
