I actually can't believe I have crossed the line.  Three months late starting the second alphabet due to a great project I was working on and now have finished two weeks earlier.  Great feeling crossing the line.  It is even greater piecing those little bits of leftovers and scraps and making them into a life of their own.  Something that has had a distressed, torn, worn, frayed life can still piece it together and feel you have accomplished a "whole" lot of satisfaction.  Have a great Christmas everyone,  I feel blessed to be a part of this creative community of alaw!  2013 will be even greater than 2012, good luck with your finished alphabets! Christine

  1. What a great idea! Love the stitching through all the letters.

  2. It was stemming from an antique Chinese waistcoast I saw an artist friend wearing in Sanbao, Jingdehzen. I loved it so much it stuck in my mind.

  3. So wonderful and amazing - it looks beautiful! So stylish and subtle colours - just love it.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on our work - it's always good to hear what folk think!
